How to Release Pain and Tension in Your Body

You are powerful. So anytime that you wake up and your emotions get the best of you always remind yourself that you are powerful.
As we go through our lives we can experience emotions that can leave us feeling not our best. Noticing how we feel and shining light onto what might be going on within is the first step to transcending what no longer serves us and allows us to ground ourselves in the emotions that do.
Whether you might be feeling frustrated over a certain life situation, feeling worried about the unknown, feeling shame over something that you feel should be different or feeling uncertain over something that might happen in the future, know that when you are present and connected to your true self, you can embody the spirit of faith, courage, love, peace, perfection, confidence, strength, hope, belief, trust, and joy.
So today take a deep breath. Do a body scan and stop on any pain or tension you might be feeling in your body. Allow yourself to breathe into these areas and allow yourself to rest there.
Stay connected to your breath and keep breathing.
Then, ask the tension what you need to know or what you need to let go of. Tell the pain and tension you are listening and wait to hear the answers that whisper to you.
Allow yourself to continue breathing deeply into any areas and allow your body to move freely if need be. You might even feel tremors, have tears, or have shakes in your body as you feel the tension leaving your body.
Then feel your body filling up with love and strength and thank your body for showing up today. Thank your spirit for guiding you and leading you and give thanks for everything that is showing up in your life right now. Good or bad, give thanks that you are where you are and that you are in the right spot.
Ask yourself how you can serve yourself today and wait to hear the answers and what comes up for you.
Maybe you need a nap.
Maybe you need to forgive yourself or someone else.
Maybe you need to let something or someone go.
Maybe you need to rest and just focus on your own well-being and family.
Maybe you need to trust and believe that you have everything you need and that all will be okay.
Maybe you need to relax or take action on something that you’ve been putting off for a while.
Maybe, just maybe you need to be happy right where you are and know that today is a gift and you never know what tomorrow will hold.
Either way continue to breathe deeply and allow yourself time to just be or do anything that you feel is right and best for you today without judgment or thinking it should be any different.
How happy would you feel if you knew you had everything you wanted?
How much easier would your life be if you were free of all stress and tension knowing those big dreams and goals of yours were already an accomplished fact?
Since you become what you think about, keep your mind centered on the good things in your life. Think of all of the beautiful people, things and opportunities you have in your life and keep moving forward.
The past is gone, the future hasn’t happened yet so stay present, and just allow yourself to feel how powerful, strong, and successful you are from the inside out, and know that this divine truth will always set you free.
